Business Literacy for the Artist
Helping artists like you think like entrepreneurs without compromising Your artistic identity.
You’ve got the talent.
You’ve spent years training, perfecting your craft, and dreaming of a career on stage.
But let’s be honest,
Navigating the business side of the industry? That part no one really taught you.
You need more than just technique. You need to understand contracts, finances, representation, royalties, and reputation. You need to walk into the room not just as a talented artist but as the CEO of your career.
Too often, newly minted performers step into the professional world without the business literacy they need. That leads to missed opportunities, poor decisions, and gigs that drain more than they deliver. It’s not your fault. Most conservatories focus on the craft and skip the business entirely.
That’s why I created Business Literacy for the Artist. With over 20 years of experience as a working actor, and all the missteps to show for it, I designed this course to be the guide I wish I’d had. It’s clear, actionable, and built for performers like you who are ready to turn their talent into a sustainable career.
Here’s how it works:
Watch the Videos: Get practical guidance on everything from contracts to career mindset.
Fill Out the Worksheets: Apply what you’ve learned immediately to your real-world goals.
Implement It All: Start showing up like a pro in both your craft and your business.
Whether you’re graduating soon, just booked your first gig, or tired of figuring this out the hard way, this course will help you bridge the gap between dream and reality.
